Policies, Terms and Conditions:

The terms, policies and conditions (collectively known as "Conditions") described below govern the use of this site (referred to as “LongfellowsCoffee.com,” “LongfellowsCoffee.com, LLC" or “site”). Your use and/or placement of any order indicates your acceptance of these Conditions.

Privacy

We keep your personal information private and secure. When you make a purchase from our site, you provide your name, email address, credit card information, address, phone number, and a password. We use this information to process your orders, to keep you updated about your orders and to personalize your shopping experience. Our secure servers protect your information using advanced encryption techniques and firewall technology.

To keep you informed about our latest offers, we may notify you of current promotions, specials and new additions to the Longfellow’s Coffee brick and mortar stores and this site. You may unsubscribe from our newsletters and any other promotional materials we send by following the unsubscribe instructions in any e-mail you receive from us.

When entering any of our contests or prize drawings, you provide your name, email address and mailing address. If you win, we will send the prize to the address entered and notify you by e-mail. When you enter a contest or drawing you are also included in our newsletter list to receive notice of promotions, specials and new additions to the Longfellow’s Coffee brick and mortar stores and this site. You may unsubscribe from this news list by following the unsubscribe instructions in any e-mail received.

Privacy on Other Web Sites

Other sites accessible through our site have their own privacy policies and data collection practices. Please consult each site's privacy policy. LongfellowsCoffee.com, LLC is not responsible for the actions of third parties.

Credit and Debit Cards

We accept the following credit cards: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases with LongfellowsCoffee.com. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order.

Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, Company Checks and
Personal Checks

LongfellowsCoffee.com accepts money orders, cashier’s checks, personal checks, and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. Please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt of your non-credit or debit card payment for clearance of funds before your order is processed. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks.

Shipping Policy

Shipping Time. Most orders received before 3:00PM (Eastern Time) will ship the same day, provided the product ordered is in stock. Most orders received after 3:00 PM will ship the next business day. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by prior arrangement.

We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. You select the freight carrier and the method of shipment on our site at the time you place your order. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by LongfellowsCoffee.com or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.

Out-of-Stock Products

LongfellowsCoffee.com will ship your product as it becomes available. Usually products ship the same day if ordered by 3:00PM  (Eastern time), or by the next business day if your order is received after 3:00PM and for orders received on Saturday, Sunday or any major holiday. However, there may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay fulfilling your order. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping.

Multiple Product Orders

For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Some products coming to you from their manufacturers will be shipped directly from these third party suppliers. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate you selected online and agreed to at the time you made your online purchase from LongfellowsCoffee.com

Taxes

LongfellowsCoffee.com shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within New Jersey. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes or other taxes.

Important: To receive a refund, you must request it via e-mail sent to return@longfellowscoffee.com within seven (7) days of the receipt of your order.  In your e-mail message, please tell us your reason for requesting a refund.

Return Policy

Returning coffee. If you are not satisfied with the fresh roasted coffee you receive from LongfellowsCoffee.com, we will refund the entire product purchase price, upon receipt of the product’s return to us and in accordance with the terms1 detailed below. Upon request, we will provide a coupon for up to $5.00 to help defray your return shipping costs.

Returning food and beverage products. Some food and beverage items that are delivered to you in a third-party manufacturer’s packaging (e.g., tea, chai, syrup) must be returned in their unopened packaging in order for you to receive a refund. We do not provide coupons to defray the return shipping cost of such items.

Returning equipment. Equipment returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, if the returned equipment is not defective. Equipment returns must be requested within seven (7) days of receipt of the equipment. Equipment refunds will not be issued unless you use the above-mentioned RNA number, which we assign after receiving your e-mail refund request (sent to returns@LongfellowsCoffee.com). If equipment is deemed defective, you need to contact the manufacturer directly. Any repairs, exchanges or refunds will be determined by the manufacturer of the equipment and not LongfellowsCoffee.com.

For returns being sent to LongfellowsCoffee.com (not directly to equipment manufacturers), here are the steps to take:

1) Read the return terms listed below1.

2) Contact us via e-mal sent to returns@LongfellowsCoffee.com stating your reason for requesting a refund.

3) Be sure to include the product(s)’ Order Number(s) in your e-mail request.

4) You will be sent an e-mail message with a Return Number Authorization (RNA) and instructions about how to complete the return procedure.

5) Products may be returned only with our prior approval and with a Return Number Authorization.

6) Returns must be shipped prepaid within seven (7) days of the RNA being sent to you via email.

Within 30 days of receiving the returned product(s), LongfellowsCoffee.com, LLC will refund its purchase price to the credit card that was used to make the original purchase.

1Terms: Since all returned coffees will be discarded, and in an effort on our part to prevent return coffee substitution abuse, coffees listed in the Exotic category are subject to a 25% product return fee. Coffee orders over $100.00 are subject to a 25% product return fee (in addition to the return fee applied if the order consists of Exotic coffee). Refunds will be provided after we inspect the returned coffee to determine it is in fact the same coffee originally sent.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, LongfellowsCoffee.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel these orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. LongfellowsCoffee.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, LongfellowsCoffee.com will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
