Longfellow's Coffee Dark Roast consists of three outstanding coffees: Colombian Supremo, Kenya AA and Java Estate. The select Colombian Supremo beans anchor the blend, providing its balanced, rich flavor and medium acidity. Additional character and complexity come from the distinctly-flavored Kenya AA beans, which are earthy, full-bodied and present the palate with a bright acidity. Longfellow's Coffee Decaffeinated Roast takes into account that the decaffeinating process inevitably washes away a bit of the beans' original flavor. That's why, for our decaffeinated brew, we select 100 percent, high Andes Mountain-grown Colombian beans that are bursting with innate, intense flavor. These excellent beans ensure a palate-pleasing gusto remains after decaffeination. They are slowly roasted to bring out their peak mellow taste and pleasing aroma. Espresso A single 1.5-ounce espresso is made when 7 grams of specially grown, roasted, and ground coffee beans are shot through with extremely hot water delivered under immense pressure. An espresso has been called coffee in its most concentrated, pure and pleasing state. Cappuccino. Espresso and a little bit of steamed milk is topped with a generous dollop of steamed milk foam. The process makes even skim and 1% milk taste creamy. (As a matter of fact, the less butterfat in the milk, the better it foams and the creamier it tastes.)

Latté. Espresso combined with steamed milk and a little bit of milk foam. The process makes even skim and 1% milk taste creamy.

Flavored Latté. Espresso combined with steamed milk and either chocolate syrup (a Mocha), vanilla syrup, caramel syrup, hazelnut syrup, English Toffee, Irish Cream syrup and literally dozens of other flavors. If you're adventurous, you might experiment with other flavors. For example, by adding both chocolate syrup and coconut syrup to your latte, your beverage will taste a lot like a Mounds Bar. All flavored syrups are sweetened with sugar. Americano. A cup of coffee made by combining espresso and hot water. Then add dairy and sweetener to taste.

Coffee Jolt. A strong coffee beverage made by combining brewed coffee and two espresso shots. Then add dairy and sweetener to taste.

Red Eye. A slightly less strong coffee beverage than the Jolt, a Red Eye is made with only one shot of espresso added to the brewed coffee.

Chai Latté. Traditional spiced Indian teas are combined with milk and then steamed to deliver a highly satisfying hot beverage.

Red Eye Chai. We add an espresso shot to a chai latte to give the traditional Indian beverage a bit more oomph.

Black Eye.  Hot chocolate with a shot of espresso. (We use our own proprietary hot chocolate recipe. Never a powder mix at Longfellow’s!)

CafeFrio^TM. Our own recipe creates a deliciously flavored coffee, espresso, cream and ice drink that's blended smooth and topped with a wicked dollop of whipped cream and drizzles of chocolate or caramel sauce.

Egg Cream Supreme. Our adaptation of the Brooklyn classic. We make the Egg Cream Supreme with a wide variety of flavored syrups (including Brooklyn's standard Fox's U-Bet), which we combine with a generous splash of light cream and real fountain soda water. Then we top it all with whipped cream. For a low-cal version, ask for skim milk and sugar-free syrup. Whether it's ours or Brooklyn's original, there are no eggs in an egg cream.

Italian Soda. Flavored syrup combined with ice cold sparkling water. Sugar-free syrups are available to make a refreshingly delicious low-cal drink.

Italian Cream Soda. We add a splash of cream to the Italian Soda to make a surprisingly smooth, sweet and refreshing beverage.

Flavored Syrups. The following delicious syrup flavors are available: Chocolate, Vanilla, Caramel, Hazelnut, Almond Roca, Blackberry, Cherry, Coconut, Cranberry, English Toffee,  Irish Cream, Lemon, Lime, Orange, Peach, Raspberry, Root Beer and Strawberry and many more. What size beverage do you want? Pure espresso shots are available as singles (1.5 oz.), doubles (2.5 oz.), triples (3.75 oz.) and quads (5 oz.). Hot drip coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, and tea come in three sizes: 12 oz., 16 oz. and 20 oz. Cold beverages come in three sizes: 12 oz., 16 oz. and 24 oz.

Do you want milk or cream in your coffee or tea? We serve whole milk, fat-free milk, half and half, and soy milk.
